Step 1: Engage with Leadership
Start by getting the buy-in and support from church leadership. Hold a meeting to discuss the vision and benefits of the Making Life Disciples ministry. Attend one of Care Net’s monthly Making Life Disciples leadership training. RSVP here!
Step 2: Build Your Team
Recruit passionate and dedicated team members who are committed to the cause. Look for diverse skills and a shared commitment to making a difference in the community.
Step 3: Train Your Team
Equip your team with the necessary skills and knowledge through training sessions. The study guide and accompanying videos will be your primary resource for your team.
Step 4: Launch Your Ministry
Officially launch your ministry with a kickoff event. This could include a special service, informational sessions, and/or promotional materials to raise awareness within the church.
ABOUT THE MAKING LIFE DISCIPLES TRAINING
Starting with the Gospel, Making Life Disciples lays the spiritual groundwork for compassionate engagement. It delves into historical and societal influences, emphasizing empathy in service. Offering insights into the mission field, it guides readers on relationship-building and overcoming challenges. It addresses abortion realities, equipping readers with effective responses. It also presents supportive options beyond abortion, including parenting, adoption, restoration, and ongoing assistance.
